BAKED BUCKWHEAT - KASZA GRYCZANA

3 cups water
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups buckwheat groats
butter

Heat the oven to 300 degrees. Bring the water to a boil and add
the salt and buckwheat. Simmer until the groats have absorbed most
of the water. Drain thoroughly. Arrange in a greased ovenproof dish
and bake for 20 minutes. Each grain should be dry and separate.
Serve with a pat of butter.
