Raspberry and Strawberry Soup
(zupa malinowa z poziomkami)
1 pint raspberries
1 pint garden or wild strawberries
3 pints water
sugar to taste
1 Tbsp potato flour or cornstarch
Clean berries. Bring raspberries to a boil and simmer about 10
minutes. Pass through sieve together with cleaned and hulled raw
strawberries. Return to liquid. Dissolve potato flour or cornstarch
in a little cold water, stir into soup, add sugar to taste and
serve hot or iced.
As a variation dissolve the potato flour or
cornstarch into 1 cup of sour cream rather than water.
