1/2 cup cherry preserves (or any other flavor)
16 oz applesauce
2 tsp cornstarch
Combine cherry preserves, applesauce, cornstarch in small saucepan.
cook over medium heat and stir until mixture is thick, then chill.
Use this chilled fruit mixture for filling. Dust with confectioners
sugar.
