SMALL PIERNIK (PIERNICZKI DROBNE)
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbl. water
1 cup honey (browned)
3 cups flour, white or rye
Beat eggs until lemon colored. add sugar and flavoring. Add baking
soda dissolved in water, honey, flour and mix well. Shape into
tiny round balls or put on well floured board and shape into fingers
or cut with round cookie cutter. Bake in 350F oven for 15 minutes.
Frost if desired.
