Old Fashioned Potato Soup
8 medium potatoes (cubed) 4 cups milk 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup flour 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 1 egg (well beaten) 3 tablespoons milk
Boil potatoes in salt water, until tender. Drain. Add 4 cups milk to potatoes, heat. Blend in one/quarter tsp. pepper and 2 tsp. salt.
Cut margarine into the flour and blend in well beaten egg and milk. Use only enough milk to make mixture thin to drop into the hot soup. Drop one teaspoonful at a time into soup, cover and cook approximately 10 minutes. Serve hot.
