PATIO PORK CHOPS

6 to 8 rib chops, 1/2" thick
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 tsp ginger
1 cup ginger ale
1 tsp garlic powder
2 pkg (10 oz.) frozen baby lima beans
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup diced pimento
3 Tbsp shortening
1 can (8 oz.) baby onions

Combine seasonings and rub on chops. Brown chops in hot fat.
Combine bouillon cubes and ginger ale and pour over chops. Simmer
for 1/2 hour. Cook beans just until barely tender. Drain. Combine
beans, pimento, and onions in 9 X 13 baking dish. Arrange chops
on mixture and pour brown sauce from skillet over all. Cover with
foil and bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
