Pork Chops
boneless loin pork chops salt freshly ground black pepper garlic powder
Take as many boneless loin pork chops as you want and sprinkle both sides with a little salt, a fair amount of freshly ground black pepper and as much garlic powder as will stay on the chops. Place under the broiler for 6-8 minutes, turn and cook another 6-8 minutes, depending on the chops' thickness.
As a variation, prepare chops as above; heat a teaspoonful of light olive oil in a frying pan at medium-high heat and add the pork chops, sear for about 4-5 minutes, then turn and place them in a different spot in the pan. Sear this side until lightly browned then add a cup of drained sauerkraut. Stir the sauerkraut to scrape up the brown bits on the pan, place the chops on top of the sauerkraut, reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 5 to 7 minutes; stirring occasionally.
