Plum Sauce Oven Spareribs

17 ounce can purple plums
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 drops Tabasco sauce
6 pounds pork spareribs

Cut spareribs into serving size portions, cover with water. Bring
to boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Drain.

Puree plums. Combine pureed plums, their juice and remaining
ingredients, except spareribs. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Refrigerate.

Put ribs in baking pan, cover with sauce, bake at 425 F for about
1 hour. Baste often, turn at least once.
