Fried Chicken

3/4 cup 3-minute brand quick oats
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup chopped blanched almonds
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 3 pound frying chicken, cut up

Combine oats, cheese, almonds, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. In
a 9x13 inch baking dish, melt butter with garlic powder. Dip chicken
pieces in garlic-butter and then in oats mixture. Place chicken
pieces in baking dish and bake, uncovered, at 375F for 55-65 minutes,
or until tender. Do not turn chicken pieces during baking.
