Lemon Chicken

1 1/2 tablespoons salad oil
1 chicken, cut up
Grated rind of 1/2 lemon
10 ounce can tomato juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 medium onion, sliced
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat oil in frying pan and brown chicken.
Place in shallow baking dish in single layer, meaty side up. Sprinkle
with grated lemon rind. Heat remaining ingredients, stirring to
blend. Pour over chicken. Bake one hour or until tender, uncovered,
basting often.
