Print this Recipe    Well, the sauce sounds like one I make for a chicken dish. You should be

able to substitute a different kind of meat in this recipe:

Shoyu Chicken

Flour, Salt, and Pepper
1/4 c. Soy sauce
1/4 c sugar
1 T. vinegar
(I also add a little ginger, because I love ginger).
Oh, and Chicken, of course

Dredge chicken pieces in flour, salt and pepper. Pan fry in a little oil.
Once it's slightly browned, at sauce, reduce heat, and simmer for a while.
(I usually start rice about now, then the chicken is done when the rice is.)
This does make a mess, so be prepared to soak the pan and wipe up the stove
once you're done.
