Wild Rice Stuffing

1 loaf bread, dried and cubed
1 med onion, chopped
1 tsp sage
1 Tbsp parsley
3 Or 4 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups wild rice, cooked
1/2 lb butter, melted
1 cup water or stock
apples, optional
1/2 cup raisins optional

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the bread, onion, sage,
parsley, celery and wild rice. Combine the melted butter with the
water or stock. Gently mix in the melted butter and water or stock.
Toss in apples and raisins if desired. Carefully stuff turkey or
chicken, do not pack too tightly - keep it loose or the stuffing
gets sticky. If you don't want to stuff the bird, bake the dressing
separately in covered casserole for about an hour.
