THAI TURKEY BURGERS
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Juice of 1 lime
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
4 hamburger buns
In a small dish combine the garlic, ginger, cilantro, mint, basil,
lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar and mix well.
Add the turkey and bread crumbs and mix lightly, yet thoroughly,
and shape in to 4 burgers.
Heat grill and spray grids with cooking spray. Grill the burgers
until no longer pink in the center, about 6 minutes on each side.
To grill the buns, place them cut side down, along the edge of the
grill. Place the burgers in the buns and serve. Makes 4 servings.
