Chorizo (Mexican Sausage) (Makes 10 patties)
1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon paprika 1 clove garlic, well crushed 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano, crushed 1 3/4 tablespoons white vinegar 1/4 teaspoon water 1 lb lean pork, ground
Add all ingredients to the ground pork and mix well. Let stand for several hours and mix again. Shape into patties and fry.
