Mincemeat
makes 4 quarts of mincemeat.
1/2 lb. suet
2 lbs. raisins
2 lbs. sultanas
1 lb. currants
1/2 lb. mixed peel
Juice of 2 lemons
12 red-skinned apples
1 lb. white sugar
Core but do not peel the apples. Put them through a food chopper.
Mix all of the ingredients together. Store in the refrigerator in
tightly-sealed jars.
