Amish Chowchow

2 cups each:

sliced, unpeeled cucumbers
chopped sweet peppers
chopped white cabbage
chopped unpeeled green tomatoes
lima beans
cut green beans
sliced carrots
chopped celery

2 Tbsp celery seed
11/2 Tbsp mustard seed
4 cups cider vinegar
2 cups water
4 cups sugar
1/4 cup ground turmeric

Soak cukes, peppers, cabbage, onions and tomatoes in salted water
overnight. Use 1/2 cup salt for each quart of water. Cook limas,
green beans, carrots and celery until barely tender. Drain all
vegetables well.

Mix soaked and cooked vegetables with remaining ingredieints.
Bring to boil, lowetr heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes. While
hot, place is sterilized jars and seal at once. Makes 8-10 pints.

I would process in BWB for 15 minutes.
