Chutney

8 cups chopped apples
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 sweet red peppers, seeded and chopped
2 lbs. seeded raisins, chopped
2 pods hot peppers, chopped
2 Tbs each black and white mustard seed
4 cups apple cider vinegar
1 cup chopped onions
4 cups brown sugar
2 Tbs ground ginger
2 tsp vegetable salt
2 tsp allspice

Combine all ingredients in large kettle. Bring slowly to boil;
boil until vegetables tender and chutney thick. Pour boiling hot
into hot sterilised jars and seal.
