SEARCH RECIPES: LOCATION: Recipes >> Preserving >> CORN COB JELLY    CORN COB JELLY 12 sweet corn cobs 4 c. water 4 c. sugar l box fruit pectin Bring water with cobs, to a boil, boil for l0 mins. Measure 3 c. liquid and strain through a cheesecloth. Put strained fluid into a large saucepan, add pectin. Bring to rolling boil. Add sugar, bring mixture back to a boil. Simmer for 3 mins., then skim. Add food coloring, if desired. Pour into scalded jars and seal. Jelly will be clear and taste like apple-honey. This recipe is to die for!! It has a wonderful flavor and is extremely easy to make. It takes no time at allto make, and I used the cobs to make 2 batches, and they both turned out great. This is a recipe that has a honey-apple taste to it, and if you never tried it, you should, you will be very surprised, tastes great on warm biscuits!!!! I came home and looked on the internet for a recipe and found myself here. This recipe is so simple and is so yummy!! It turned out better than what I had bought! The flavor is unreal! If you never tried this jelly your missing out! It is so great on warm buscuits! I even made 2 batches out of the cobs and both bathches turned out great!! I highly recomend this to anyone that wants to try something new and trust me this is great. It has a honey-apple taste to it. It was a very good year for corn in our garden this year. I decided to try the jelly just for fun. I am glad I did. The jelly turned out great. It has a very good taste and it was easy to make. My sister called me this evening from Florida and wants the recipe. I copied it from your website and am going to send it to her. Try it you will like it and you also get a double use for corn.
