Hot Dill Pickles
Yield: 1 gallon

1 gallon cucumbers
1 1/2 tb mustard seed
1 1/2 ts alum
1 smll onion
2 cloves garlic
3 hot peppers
1 dill head
1 qt vinegar
3 qt water
1 c salt

Put first seven ingredients into jars. Bring last three ingredients
to a boil together and then pour into previously prepared jars.
Seal. Open in 3 to 4 weeks.
