KELP BREAD & BUTTER PICKLES

30 Kelp slices, 4 or 5 inches long
10 med. onions, sliced

5 C apple cider vinegar
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp tumeric
2 tsp celery seed
2 C honey
2 tsp mustard seed

Bring to a boil. Simmer 10 min. Pack kelp in sterilized jars.
Pour brine over kelp and onions to 1/2 in. of top. Put lids on
jars and water bath 10 min. Makes 8 pints. Tastes like sweet
relish.
