Orange Cordial

Citrus Cordial
5 oranges
2 lemons
2 pints water
2 1/2 lb sugar
1/2 oz tartaric acid
1 oz citric acid
1/2 oz Epsom Salts
Grate rind from fruit and juice. These days I peel the rind and
pulverise with some of the sugar in the food processor. Add to
water and sugar, bring to boil, add remaining ingredients and
dissolve. Bottle.
I strain before bottling as my kids complain about the bits though
this is not strictly necessary.
Dilute with water, soda water etc. Goes nicely with G & Ts.
