I had many people mention that they remembered marichino (sp?) cherries in their pear honey. My fatherinlaw confirms this. I used a large can & doubled recipe. It took a long time to cook & had to be stirred continuesly at he end. It was worth the time & effort. It looks really nice & taste great. Thank you for sharing.
