Pear Honey
3 lbs ripe pears
1 cup diced pineapple
grated rind/juice 1 fresh lime
5 cups sugar
Wash, pare, core pears, slice before measuring. Run through food
chopper using fine blade. Dice pineapple fine and combine with
pears. Add lime rind/juice. Add sugar and cook over slow heat
stirring frequently. Cook for 20 minutes. Pack into sterilizederr
jars and seal while hot.
I'd BWB 10 minutes.
