Pickled Asparagus 05

Pickled asparagus For 1 pint. Make many more.
Clean the asparagus and snap off the ends. Cut to fit into jar with about 1" headspace. Add to jar 1 tsp. dill weed 2 tsp. pickling salt 1 clove garlic Fill jar halfway with vinegar. Add boiling water to fill jar with 1/2" headspace. Seal. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Takes about 2 lb. of asparagus per jar. I also pickle the small trimmings. Good in pasta salads.
