Pickled Garlic

8-10 whole garlics

1 dl water
2 dl vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 Tsp sugar
10 black peppercorns
1 Tsp mustard seeds
2 bay leafs
1/2 dl oil
1 Tsp dried herbs (oregano for instance)

Boil the garlic cloves in water for about 5 minutes, this will make
it easy to peel them. Put the peeled cloves in an airtight
glass-container.

Mix the marinade ingredients in a saucepan and boil for a couple
off minutes. Pour the hot marinade over the garlic and close the
lid. Let stand in a cool place for 1-2 weeks.
