Old Fashioned Pickled Okra

3 cups white vinegar
5 cups water
1/3 cup salt

5 quarts okra

2 cloves fresh garlic per jar
1 chopped jalapeno pepper per jar
1 teaspoon dill seed per jar

Combine vinegar, water and salt. Bring to boil.

Fill 4 hot jars with okra and add 2 cloves fresh garlic, 1 jalapeno
pepper cut up (more if you like it hot) and 1 teaspoon of dill
seed. Fill jars with mixture. Put on canning lids and set in BWB
for 10 minutes. Remove jars from water and set aside to cool.
