Sour Pickles

medium sized cucumbers
1 gallon cider vinegar
1 quart water
1 cup salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup mustard seed

Wash cucumbers and pack into hot sterilized jars. Combine remaining
ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Pour boiling solution
over cucumbers. Seal. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
