Steak Sauce
1 T tamarind sauce
2 T brown sugar
1/2 C ketchup
1/3 C ketjap manis or tamari soy sauce
1 papaya or mango, peeled and seeded
1 t chile paste
2 t chile powder
1/4 C rice wine vinegar
3/4 C water
1 t minced ginger
1 clove of garlic
1/2 t fresh ground black pepper
Combine all in pan and simmer for 30 mins. Puree.
