Print this Recipe    Tomatillo Green Salsa

5 cups chopped tomatillos
1 1/2 cups seeded, chopped long green chilies
1/2 cup seeded finely chopped jalapeno peppers
4 cups chopped onions
1 cup bottled lemon juice
6 cloves garlic finely chopped
1 Tbs ground cumin
3 Tbs oregano leaves
1 Tbs salt
1 tsp black pepper.

Combine all ingred in large saycepan and stir frequently over high heat
until; begins to boil. then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Ladle into
hot pint jars. 1/2" headspace. Seal. Process in BWB 15 minutes

Yield 5 pints. You may substitute green tomatoes for tomatillos.

Note: Do not substitute proportions of vegetables.
