BEEF TONGUE

1 tongue
2 cups water
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 bay leaf
1 carrot, sliced
1 onion, sliced

Wash tongue and place in cooker with remaining ingredients. Cover,
set control and cook for 45 minutes after control jiggles. Cool
cooker normally for 5 minutes, cool under running water. Peel off
skin. Serve hot or cold.

Internet came through again. This a good recipe. My grandmother used to make tongue. I love internet recipes. I do not cook everyday, yet I had a craving from what I saw at the grocery store. Nice easy recipe is prepared quickly with a pressure cooker. Good flavor, tender, put ingredients in the pressure cooker, brought up to temperature and in 45 minutes it was perfectly done. Thanks!!!
