2 lbs lean stewing beef; cut in 1 1/2" cubes 1 onion, sliced 3 tomatoes, quartered 3 green peppers, chopped 1 1/2 bay leaves pinch of thyme salt and pepper vegetables to taste
Soak lid. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, place in clay baker, cover and put into cold oven. Temp 425F, 80 minutes.
