Lentil Soup

1 large onion
1 large carrot
2 celery ribs
2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup dried lentils
3 cups water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt to taste

Cut onion, carrot and celery into slices. Melt butter in cooker
and add veggies. cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until golden
brown. Wash and add lentils, water, bouillon cube and seasonings.
Close lid securely. Bring to pressure. Reduce heat and cook for
15 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Puree in blender if desired. Serves
4.
