1 c Rice 1/2 ts Parsley, chopped 1 lb Beef, ground 1 Garlic, small clove 2 Carrots (2-3 re size) 1 1/2 c Water, or more as needed 2 Potatoes, med Salt 2 Onions Pepper
The vegetables must all be chopped up finely. Wash the rice thoroughly. Combine all ingredients, except the potatoes. Cook slowly for twenty minutes, then add the potatoes and let everything continue to cook slowly about an hour, or less until done.

1 lb Pork sausage, mild, bulk 2 c Boiling water 1 ts Cumin, ground 1 Jalapeno pepper; 1/2 ts Garlic powder -seeded and finely minced 2 md Onions; chopped 1 pk Long grain and wild rice mi 2 md Green peppers; chopped -quick-cooking (6 1/4 oz) 2 Beef bouillon cubes
In a large skillet, cook sausage, cumin and garlic powder, stirring often. Drain. Add onions and green peppers; saute until crisp-tender. Dissolve bouillon in water; add to skillet. Stir in jalapenos, rice and rice seasoning packet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5-10 minutes or until the water is absorbed.

1 pk 10oz frozen chooped broccoli 1 c Cooked rice 3/4 c Chopped onion 1/4 c Chopped canned green chilie 2 tb Butter 1 2oz jar pimentos, chopped 4 lg Eggs, beaten 1 1/4 ts Salt 2 c Milk 1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 c Grated Sharp Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse broccoli with hot water to separate; drain well. Saute onion and broccoli in butter until onion is tender. Combine with eggs and milk. Stir in cheese, rice, chilies, pimentos, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Turn into a greased 8-inch-square (2 qt) baking dish. Set in shallow pan of hot water. Bake about 40 minutes, until set in center.
