Bacon Dressing and Wilted Lettuce
1 bowl of lettuce
sliced purple onion to taste
6 slices bacon
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup or so white vinegar
Put the lettuce in a bowl and top with onions. Sprinkle with sugar.
Cook the bacon in a frying pan. Remove, break into small pieces
and put on salad. Add vinegar to the bacon grease. Bring to a boil,
and pour over the salad. Toss and enjoy.
