Summer Slaw

1 large head of cabbage or 1 bag of precut coleslaw
2 white onions
1 cup sugar

2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp celery seed
1 cup vinegar

Mix in a large bowl, the cabbage, onions, and 1 cup sugar. Bring
to a boil the 2 tsp sugar, salt, mustard, oil, celery seed, and
vinegar.

Pour boiling mixture over the cabbage/onion mixture. Do not stir
for 4 hours. Refrigerate. Add green, red, or yellow peppers and
pimento for color. Stir before serving.
