Garlicky Green Salad
1 head romaine or other crisp green lettuce
3 Tbls. lemon juice
2 Tbls. olive oil
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tsp. Dijon-style mustard
croutons for garnish
Tear lettuce into a shallow serving bowl; set aside.
In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid, shake together lemon juice,
olive oil, garlic, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar. Toss greens
with dressing, garnish with croutons and serve immediately.
