Fresh Spinach Salad
1 lb fresh leaf spinach, washed, trimmed
1 small can bean sprouts
1 small can sliced water chestnuts
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
4 boiled eggs, quartered
1/2 lb. cooked bacon, crumbled
Arrange above ingredients in a bowl with eggs used as garnish on
very top. Pour the following dressing over all just before serving
and toss.
Dressing
1 cup salad oil
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1 small onion diced
Put dressing in a jar with a lid and then shake it vigorously before
pouring onto greens.
