Strawberry Spinach 06

Strawberry-Spinach Salad
serves: 6-8
2 bundles spinach, washed, deveined and broken into bite size pieces.
1/2 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 red onion, halved and sliced thin
Poppyseed Dressing
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 Tbsp chopped onion
1 tsp poppy seed
2 Tbsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
Arrange spinach, strawberries and red onion in a large salad bowl.
Place onion, poppy seed, sesame oil, paprika and Worcestershire
sauce in a blender. Combine oil and rice wine vinegar. With blender
running, slowly add oil and vinegar mixture. Blend until thickened.
Drizzle over salad; serve immediately.
