Print this Recipe    Syrian Tabouli

Yield: 8 Servings

1 c bulghur wheat
1 t Lawry's seasoned salt
1 t crushed red pepper
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 c oil
1/2 c lemon juice

5 med tomatoes, chopped
5 pickling cucumbers, chopped
1 romaine lettuce, chopped
1 bunch parsley, minced
1 bunch fresh mint, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
5 scallions, chopped

Combine bulghur, salt, pepper, tomato paste, oil and lemon juice
and let sit for 1/2 hr.

Add tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine, parsley, mint, bell pepper, and
scallions to bulghur mixture and mix well. Best if allowed to sit
for a few hours. Add more lemon and salt to taste.
