Salsa Casera
1 white onion, cut into 1/8 inch dice 6 plum tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch dice 2 serrano chiles, cut into 1/8 inch dice 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/4 cup fresh cilantro Leaves, chopped 1 tsp sugar 1/4 cup Tecate beer 2 mexican limes, juiced 2 tsp kosher salt
Place the chopped onions in a strainer, rinse with hot tap water, and drain. Combine all ingredients, except salt, no more than 1 hour before serving. Mix well. Chill 30-60 minutes. Add salt when serving. Serve with tortilla chips, Lime wedges, and iced cold Tecate.
