Chili Dog Casserole
12 hot dogs 1 slice cheese 1 can chili hot beans -- (15 oz.) 1 can tomato sauce -- (8 ounces) 1/4 teaspoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin cayenne red pepper to taste
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Make three 1/2-inch diagonal slits in each hot dog. Cut cheese into 36 strips. Insert cheese strip in each slit in the hot dogs. In ungreased baking dish (11-1/2 x 7- 1/2), mix beans, tomato sauce and seasonings. Arrange hot dogs on bean mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
To serve on buns: Heat chili beans, tomato sauce, and seasoning. Prepare hot dogs with cheese as above. Place hot dogs with cheese in sliced brat buns and top with chili mixture.
Chili Dogs
4 kielbasa links 4 brat buns butter 4 slices cheddar cheese 8 ounces chili -- canned
Split the kielbasa in half and grill in the broiler. While they're cooking, cut the brat buns in half and butter both sides. Put under the broiler with the kielbasa. Remove in a few minutes when they start to brown. Put strips of Cheddar on the kielbasa until melted. In a saucepan heat the chili. When the kielbasa are done, place in buns. Top with chili mixture.
Chili Dogs 2
1 can chili con carne with beans 2/3 cup pickle relish 1/2 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard 24 hot dogs cooked 24 hot dog rolls -- toasted shredded cheddar cheese
In a large saucepan combine chili, relish, onion and mustard; heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Serve hot dogs on a toasted roll; Top with Chili mixtures and cheddar cheese

1 can chili with beans 6 ounces tomato paste 1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 8 hot dogs 8 buttered hot dog buns
In saucepan, combine all ingredients, except hot dogs and buns. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Heat hot dogs in boiling water; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 5 to 8 minutes. Toast buns. Serve hot dogs on buns with chili mixtures on top.
