Parkway Reuben
dark or swirled rye bread
sauerkraut
thin sliced corned beef
swiss cheese
butter
thousand island dressing or sour cream horseradish sauce to taste
Starting with two slices of rye bread, butter one side of each
piece of bread and place on griddle. Place cheese on one slice of
bread, unless you prefer more, both slices of bread. Place desired
amount of sauerkraut on griddle to heat through, the same goes for
the corned beef. When hot, place beef on one slice of cheese
layered bread, sauerkraut on the other. Place sandwich halves
together, and grill sandwich until crisp. Serve with horseradish
sauce, thousand island dressing or mustard of choice.
