Sweetsour Hamburgers

Hamburgers with Sweet and Sour Sauce
8-oz. can shredded sauerkraut, drained
1/4 cup cranberry sauce
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup water
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
6 hamburger rolls
In a saucepan combine sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce,
1/4 cup water and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and
simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a bowl combine egg,
onion soup, and 1/4 cup water and let stand 5 minutes. Add ground
beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Grill to desired degree
of doneness and place hamburger patties on rolls. Serve with sweet
and sour sauce.
