Welsh Rarebit 10

Welsh Rarebit
2 tsp butter
1 tsp cornstarch or flour
salt and cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup coarsely grated old cheddar
1/2 cup milk or beer
Melt butter, add cornstarch and stir until it bubbles; add milk or
beer gradually; cook a minute or so and add the cheese; stir until
cheese melts it is creamy. Serve at once on a piece of thin
buttered toast.
