BBQ Sauce
1 c beef stock 1 juice 1 c ketchup 3 lg onion, diced 8 oz tomato sauce 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed 1 clove garlic, minced 1 c water 1 tb liquid barbecue smoke 1 tb red chili powder 2 ts sugar 1 ts pepper 1 1/2 ts salt 1/2 ts cloves, ground lemon 1 c vinegar
Mix all of the ingredients together, blending well and simmer at least 1 hour, but longer is better. Serve on roast, ribs, steak or beefburgers. Leftovers can be frozen.
