BBQ Sauce
(Yield- enough for 3-4 lbs of ribs)

2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup balsamic or cider vinegar
juice of 2 lemons
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup blackstrap molasses
salt
pepper
cayenne pepper
basil
Tabasco sauce

Combine all ingredients in a glass or Pyrex bowl, mixing thoroughly.
Place the bowl over boiling water, stirring occasionally, until
reduced by 1/3. The sauce should be thick and sticky, and should
thicken more as it cools.
