I received a request to post the cranberry jalapeno sauce that I said

that I was considering making for Thanksgiving. I gave it the wrong attribution in my original post. My darn memory. Sometimes it misses the mark. I should know better than to rely on it. This recipe was originally posted by Meg Fortino. She posted this last November and I made it last December. I liked it a lot. Jack, who was cool to the idea of this cranberry sauce, loved it in spite of himself. I loved the additional tang that the jalapenos added. So, here it is.

Cranberry Jalapeno Relish
1/2 cup water 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 1/2 cup sugar 3 or 4 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped 1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
Bring the water and vinegar to a boil. Let boil 5 minutes.
Add the sugar and jalapeno peppers. Let boil 5 more minutes.
Stir in the cranberries. Let boil 5 more minutes.
Chill in refrigerator.
