Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

1/2 cup unsalted butter.
16 oz can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

In the top of a double boiler, melt butter. Add can chocolate
syrup and condensed milk. Blend together well with a wire whisk.
Continue heating to desired thickness, stirring occasionally,
approximately 20 minutes. Pour over ice cream, pound cake, etc.
Keep remainder in a jar in the refrigerator. Jan
