Mint Sauce for Lamb
Makes 2/3 cup

1/2 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
fresh mint

Heat vinegar and sugar in small saucepan, stirring until sugar is
dissolved. Chop enough mint to make 1/2 cup. Pour hot veingar over
mint in small bowl, stand for several hours covered. Before serving
strain and discard mint. Chop another 1/4 cup mint, add to sauce
and serve at room temperature.
