Strawberry Butter

1/2 pint fresh strawberries
1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
3 T. powdered sugar
About 30 minutes before serving (or up to 3 days ahead of time):
In a small bowl mash the strawberries until crushed well. Set aside.
In separate bowl beat the butter at high speed. Add powdered sugar and
beat until fluffy. Beat in berries until smooth.
Spoon into 1 1/2 cup container. Cover and refrigerate. Yield: 1 1/4 cups.
